Why is my status collection empty?
View the status in WhatsApp first, then connect the folder containing that media. The app can only read files still present in an authorized folder. It cannot fetch unseen statuses from servers or recover deleted or expired files.
Where are my saved files?
Copies are stored in your phone’s public Download/StatusKeeper folder. View them in Saved or a file manager. These public copies may remain after uninstalling the app.
Does deleting a saved item remove the original?
No. Deleting in Saved removes only the copy created by Status Keeper. The app does not delete files from the source folder.
Why does auto-save take time?
Android schedules background work according to battery, background restrictions and device settings. Updates are not real-time. Opening the app also allows a foreground check.
Does Direct Chat send a message automatically?
No. Enter a number and optional message to open a WhatsApp conversation. You confirm the send in WhatsApp.
How do I revoke access or remove local data?
Disconnect source folders in the app and manage permissions or clear app data in Android settings. Delete public Downloads copies separately when needed.
