1. The app and its audience

Status Keeper is an independent status media utility for adults aged 18 and above. It is not affiliated with WhatsApp or Meta. Follow applicable requirements and respect other people's privacy and rights when using the app.

2. Media and folder access

Save or share media only with the owner's permission. You are responsible for your use of content you choose. Android's folder picker grants access to media still present in an authorized folder. The app cannot fetch unseen statuses from servers or restore expired or deleted files. Compatibility and background timing depend on Android, WhatsApp and device settings.

3. Copies, deletion and backups

The app stores copies in the public Download/StatusKeeper folder. Deleting in Saved removes the corresponding copy created by this app without deleting its source. Public copies may remain after uninstalling the app; manage them with a file manager and keep backups of important files. Private settings and cache can be cleared through Android's app data controls.

4. Sharing and external services

Sharing, reposting and Direct Chat open an external app you choose, where you decide whether to send. They do not authorize Status Keeper to send messages automatically. External apps process the content you provide under their own policies. Review their terms when using their services.

5. Price and future advertising

The current initial release is free and has no ads or in-app purchases. Later versions may use third-party advertising to support free access. Ads will appear in advertising placements. You decide whether to click; clicking ads is not required. Advertisers are responsible for their linked pages, products, services and transactions. Their applicable terms and privacy policies govern external services you choose to use.

Advertising and related processing will follow the policy applicable to that version, relevant requirements and necessary consent flows. Describing future advertising here neither activates ads in the current version nor constitutes consent. It does not authorize automatic messaging or supplying your source media or chat input for advertising. Before activation, we will update the provider, data-practice and privacy-choice disclosures and corresponding Google Play declarations.

6. Changes and contact

We will update the relevant disclosures when features or data practices change. For privacy, media management or other support questions, contact applogcat@gmail.com. Do not send unnecessary private media, passwords or verification codes.
